honra a tu padre y a tu madre, que es el primer mandamiento con promesa; para que te vaya bien, y seas de larga vida sobre la tierra/ Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.

el hijo sabio  alegra al padre; pero el hijo necio, es tristeza de su madre/  A wise son makes a glad father: but a foolish son is the grief of his mother - Proverbios 10:1

si tú todavía tienes la oportunidad darle alegrías a tu padre o a tu madre, no seas un necio y honralos! / If you still have a chance to bring joy to your parents, don't be a fool and honor them!
